June 13-17

Ukulele Camp

Uke-an-do it! This will be HMA's first ever ukulele camp! Activities include building/decorating your own ukulele, playing in small and large ensemble groups, singalongs, uke aerobics, and more. We will have a luau concert on the last day of camp. Open to 3rd - 12th graders. No experience needed. Younger students allowed only with teacher's recommendation. 

 

 

Half Day: 9:00a-12:00p or 12:30-3:30p

*The tuition includes a build-your-own ukulele kit. Please note that these ukuleles are beginner's ukuleles, so students may want to bring/purchase a better instrument. Half day campers will receive pre-assembled ukuleles that they can still paint/decorate.

Chamber & Composition Camp

Chamber & Composition Camp - The first half of the day will be spent playing music with other students in a small "chamber" group. The second half of the day, students will learn how to compose their own music. We will have a party and concert on the last day of camp. Open to 6th -12th graders, with a minimum of two years previous music training/lessons, and intermediate through advanced 4th-5th graders.
