SUZUKI
Our Suzuki program at Hawk Music Academy is led by Ms. Elisa Street, a Suzuki certified teacher with decades of teaching and performing experience.​

The Suzuki method is based on the philosophy that every child can learn at a high level if given the right environment. It was developed by violinist and pedagogue, Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, who believed that the connection and communication between teacher, student and parent were all equally important in developing a budding musician. Students learn to play music in the same manner in which they learn to speak – through listening, imitation, repetition and refinement. Parents work intently with teachers and their children, to ensure a successful musical journey.

​Suzuki students have weekly private lessons and group classes which are held eight times per semester on Thursdays from 6:00 to 6:45 PM:

Beginning Suzuki (Pre-Twinklers through Book 2):
1/9, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6, 3/20, 4/10, 4/17

Intermediate and Advanced Suzuki (Book 3 and up):
1/16, 1/30, 2/13, 2/27, 3/13, 3/27, 4/17, 4/24
