THEORY & AURAL SKILLS

*2022-2023 INFORMATION COMING SOON

CLASSES ARE CONDUCTED ONLINE WITH A LIVE INSTRUCTOR.

Theory & Aural Skills Classes are available for ages 5 through adult. These classes are recommended to supplement private lessons. In Preparatory through Level 4, students participate in extra-musical activities such as solfege singing, ear training, rhythm games, and more! Pattern recognition and note reading exercises are also incorporated to strengthen note reading skills. The group setting is a fun way for students to learn music with their peers.

Levels 5 and above are for intermediate through advanced level students wanting more in-depth music theory and ear training. The classes follow the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum and prepare students for examinations.

Adult 101 & 102 classes are offer a general knowledge of music theory and cover beginner through intermediate concepts.
