We offer private one-on-one music theory lessons and music composition lessons for all ages and levels. Theory lessons are recommended for students wanting to understand the written concepts of music - rhythm math, scales, chords, analysis and more. Composition lessons are recommended for students who have had at least one year of previous music study. In lessons, students learn how to write their own music with the end goal to premiere their own works by the end of each semester.

 

Weekly lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions. Beginners are recommended to take 30 minute lessons. Intermediate and advanced students should take 45 or 60 minute lessons.

Theory and composition students have many performance and assessment opportunities. Free opportunities include two performance classes per semester, two recitals per year, and masterclasses. Additional events are the North Fulton Music Teachers Association GATE (theory exam), Georgia Music Teacher Association theory exams, Georgia Musicale Group concerts, Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations, Federation Festival, and more!
