Erol Savaş began playing the electric guitar at age 14, which was his primary activity throughout the COVID lockdown in 2020. He joined his first band in 2022 and shortly after formed an indie rock band with friends in high school. He enjoyed performing covers and some original songs. After inheriting his grandmother’s classical guitar and starting to study music at the University of North Georgia, he transitioned his focus to studying classical guitar. He also began taking classes in music technology, recording, and mixing music, where he has been learning to self-produce his original music which he is planning to begin releasing.

Erol will graduate from UNG with a Bachelor of Music Arts, pursuing the Audio Recording and Production Arts Certificate, with a minor in Spanish in December of 2026. He plans to continue teaching with Hawk Music Academy while pursuing a career in writing, recording, and releasing his original music.
