Nan Zhang began practicing and learning piano at the age of eight years old. In 2002, Nan was successfully admitted to the High School affiliated with the Art College of Harbin Normal University as a Piano Performance Major. In 2005, she was admitted to International Music Education Center of Shenyang Conservatory of Music in China as a Piano Performance Major. 

 

While at the University, Nan participated in many activities related to piano such as Master Classes in the presence of renown international piano artists from around the world who shared their experience with the students. She has learned a large amount of music works of different styles that helped her in acquiring a profound understanding of music. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano in 2009, Nan has served as a piano teacher in several piano art academies teaching beginners through
advanced levels. She led students to participate in grade exams and performance activities.

 

In 2016, Nan took part in the teacher training program at the “European & American Childrens’ Piano Teaching Method", sponsored by Yamaha  and earned a keyboard drama training certificate of in the College of Music in China. Since 2019, Nan has been working as a private piano tutor in Georgia. She has great work ethic and transferring piano knowledge to her students is such a joy for her. She brings a rich experience, knowledge and interesting styles to piano teaching.

Nan loves life and is so grateful to have her two and a half year-old daughter, Kailyn, whom she rejoices every single day. Nan is so family oriented and has a big passion working with kids. She cherishes every moment of her life with her family.

Nan is so thrilled that HMA gave her this opportunity to join their amazing team. She’s looking forward to great achievements at the Academy.
