Thank you to Dr. Jessica Pacheco Hjelmstad for teaching our piano students in a hybrid format! Dr. Pacheco worked with our students via Zoom from Colorado, while students were both online or in-person. Works by Bach, Debussy, Domine, Grieg, Gounod, Haydn, and Schumann were performed.

Congratulations to all of the students who performed in either the in-person recitals or participated in our Youtube recital! It was quite a warm and sunny day on the Vickery Village Courtyard.

In this 5 day camp, students spent the first half of the day playing pieces in various sized ensembles and the second half of the day composing their own music. It was great to have this camp back for 2021!

Congratulations to all of the students who performed in either the in-person recitals or participated in our Youtube recital! We had our first-ever outdoor recitals, just outside of Hawk Music Academy in front of the ice cream shop. Best wishes to our graduating seniors: Aron Bauer, Logan Enoh, Grace May, and Christian Weimer!

Congratulations to all the participants! This year, most students chose to perform online, with a few in-person. We had approximately 250 entrants and over 40 cup winners!

Thank you to all of the students and parents who submitted their Youtube videos! Students performed a variety of styles in the comfort of their homes.

We had a successful first-ever online festival! This year, we had nearly 300 participants and 61 cup winners.

Students performed with our faculty string quartet: Andrea Mattick, Dr. S. Eric Hawk, Nancy Mack, and guest, Dr. Grant Gilman.

Congratulations to graduating seniors, Cassie Bizzarro and Colin Shin!

Our students performed for Dr. Janet Landreth, retired piano professor from Colorado State University. Dr. Landreth was recently inducted to the Steinway Hall of Fame and is the Founder of the International Keyboard Odyssiad & Festival.

Students received holiday music books for their recital gifts - a Hawk Music Academy tradition!

We enjoyed a 5 day summer camp, with half the day spent playing chamber music and the other half spent composing. The camp concluded with student performances/premieres and lunch at Happy Belly. 

This was the first year our recitals were held at the Crabapple First Baptist Church in Milton. We enjoyed the beautiful piano, stage, and larger audience space. Our students and faculty did a wonderful job performing in this new venue. 

Our students performed in a Masterclass taught by violinist, Dr. Wyatt True. Dr. True is Executive Director of the Delgani String Quartet in Eugene, Oregon.  

Approximately 20 students performed concerto movements in our recently built academy on January 27th. The students performed with our faculty string quartet and guest, Dr. Grant Gilman.
