ROSA LEAP
Hand On Piano

Rosa Leap began learning how to play the piano and sing at age five, which quickly led her to develop a deep passion for music. Shortly after starting music lessons, she was inspired to learn other instruments as well. Over time, she picked up guitar, ukulele, and bass guitar, all of which helped her to appreciate different styles, genres, and learning styles in the music world.

Throughout her childhood, Rosa regularly took piano and voice lessons, attended school and church choirs, and participated in her school’s musical theater program. She also attended many music intensives in Pensacola, Florida, where she was able to gain experience in a number of different types of performances, including church worship teams, choral ensembles, accompaniment opportunities, and solo performances.

Rosa has performed in recitals throughout her childhood, and in her adult life has performed with commercial bands for weddings and other private events. She has performed throughout the Southeast, including recent performances in Nashville, Tennessee and Atlanta, Georgia.

Rosa began teaching at the age of twelve, when she offered piano and ukulele lessons to children in her neighborhood. She has always loved teaching, including offering private tutoring and coaching swim teams throughout her adolescence and adulthood. She currently offers lessons in piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, and bass guitar. As an instructor, she believes that every student has their own unique learning style, and works hard to adapt her teaching style to support each student’s musical aspirations and goals. She strives to create a supportive and fun environment in which students can build confidence, develop strong musical foundations, and enjoy the overall process of growing into their musicianship.

Outside of music, Rosa enjoys reading, crafting, playing video games, and cooking.
