As a native of Buford, Georgia, Jacob Lenz finds himself increasingly influenced by the sounds of Soul, Jazz, and R&B. His favorite artists are Adele, Hozier, and Bruno Major. Jacob entered the world of music at the age of four and now he’s a graduate of Anderson University with a BM in Commercial Music. While his principal instrument is voice, he also plays guitar, piano, electric bass, and upright bass. He has performed at Columbus’s Bill Heard Theater, Atlanta’s Fox Theater, and Carnegie Hall, in addition to over 50 performances in 13 different ensembles with Anderson University. While he was there, he discovered his love for orchestration and his interest in pursuing an orchestral career as a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumental musician.
