Melissa "Missy" Splittgerber has been playing piano since she was 7 years old. She attended Colorado State University on a full ride scholarship and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance and a Bachelors degree in Social Work. She has 14 years of teaching experience and enjoys sharing her love of music with others. She currently plays keyboard in the band Fancy Bits with two other women and has enjoyed broadening her musical experience to song-writing and studio recording. Missy also has a passion for
advocating for Social Justice in her community and working on various mutual aid projects. She is on the Core Leadership Team for Arkitekt which is a not for profit organization that supports healing and connection for women in the community. Missy resides in Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband Jonathan and her two children Zephyr and
Izzy. She loves being outside by the river and spending time with her family and friends.
